If You Saw the World Ending: An Eco-eschatology in Five Steps

Bosnian Muslim beekeepers are close observers of insects and plants and their weathered relations. Local beekeepers offer rare insights into eye-level, ecological implications of climate change. What they relate from the field and the hives is deeply troubling. Islamic eschatological lore offers a rich conceptual and practical resource for anticipating the world’s bad end. This talk pulls on both to sketch out ways of living through an unfolding catastrophe, offering an unsolicited guide for the anxious and the casual residents of the warming world.
