Curriculum Vitae
Michelle Engeler is a lecturer, postdoctoral researcher and study coordinator at the Departement of Social Sciences of the University of Basel.
Her teaching and research activities at the Institute of Social Anthropology concentrate on (qualitative) methods, im/mobility, kinship and (transnational) life trajectories of diasporic community members and Third Culture Kids in Switzerland and beyond. Previous teaching/research focused on youth and socio-political change in West Africa.
Michelle Engeler does also teach at the Graduate School of Social Sciences G3S and is the study coordinator of the MSG Changing Societies at the University of Basel.
